We’re not just a skincare brand, we’re here to help you on your journey to a low-tox, natural way of living. Our journey began with our eldest son, Oakley. Like many parents, we believed we were making decent choices for our family until we saw Oakley reacting so strongly to additives. The frustration, sadness, and sense of helplessness we felt were overwhelming, and we knew something had to change.
At first, we didn’t understand why he was suffering. Then, something clicked. We began our own research, uncovering how everyday preservatives, additives, artificial colours, and flavours and natural flavours were affecting his health. There was no gradual shift for us, we decided that we couldn’t continue sacrificing our well-being. We embraced a low-tox lifestyle in every aspect of our lives, determined to live as optimally as possible. Now that we know the truth, there’s simply no turning back.
This transformative journey led us to discover tallow - a remarkable, nutrient-dense ingredient with centuries of use in cooking and skincare. It resonated with us because it provided a natural alternative; if we wouldn’t cook with seed oils, why would we put them on our skin? Erin, who has battled hormonal acne for years, realized that topical solutions alone couldn’t address the deeper issues often rooted in our gut health.
As a now whole-food, animal-based family, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that embracing a low-tox lifestyle can have. The knowledge we’ve gained and the changes we’ve made have not only improved our health but also made us genuinely happier.
