Grass fed tallow, cacao butter, certified organic golden jojoba, raw beeswax and certified organic sweet orange essential oil. Why is it in a tin and not a tube?

The 30g size doesn't suit a standard lip balm tube. The tin format is practical for the volume and means you can apply easily with a fingertip. Many people find it becomes part of a desk or bedside routine.

Does it feel greasy?

Not once it absorbs. Apply a thin layer and let it soak in. The beeswax and cacao butter give a smooth finish rather than a wet or greasy one.

Is it safe to ingest? I'll naturally eat some lip balm.

The ingredients are all food-grade or skin-safe naturals: tallow, ghee, cacao butter, beeswax, jojoba and either certified organic sweet orange essential oil or vanilla bean infusion. Normal everyday contact from wearing it on your lips is not a concern.

What's the difference between Choc Orange and Choc Vanilla?

The base formula is identical. Choc Orange has a bright citrus note over the chocolate base from certified organic sweet orange essential oil. Choc Vanilla is warmer and creamier from real vanilla bean infused jojoba. It comes down to personal preference.

Will it last all day?

A single application typically lasts a few hours. Because it genuinely conditions rather than just coating, your lips build moisture over time and you need to reapply less frequently.

Can children use it?

Keep out of reach of young children unsupervised as the tin lid is a choking risk. For older children under supervision, the ingredients are gentle and appropriate. Choc Orange with sweet orange essential oil is suitable for children over 2 years in cosmetic amounts.

Does the tin melt in summer?

Cacao butter softens in warm temperatures. Store out of direct sunlight. If it softens significantly, place the jar in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it back up.
